University of Pittsburgh Internal Scholarships

Foreign Language and Area Studies Fellowship (FLAS) supports full time undergraduate study of FLAS-eligible languages, including Arabic, Chinese, Hindi, Hebrew, Persian (Farsi), Portuguese, Swahili, Turkish, and Urdu.

Nationality Rooms Scholarships, University of Pittsburgh is a summer study/research international scholarship for undergraduate and graduate students.

Pitt Study Abroad Office offers a limited number of competitive scholarships to fund study abroad opportunities.

Vira I. Heinz Program for Women in Global Leadership is a one-year leadership development program that includes pre-departure and re-entry retreats, a structured community engagement experience, as well as a minimum $5,000 scholarship to study abroad. Applications are open to sophomore and junior women with no previous international experience and a GPA of at least 3.0.

Pittsburgh Foundation is a community foundation comprised of endowment funds established by individuals, businesses and organizations with a passion for charitable giving and a deep commitment to the Pittsburgh community. 

Pivot is a search engine to find funding, research, scholarship, and fellowship opportunities for people at all stages of their education and career. It is only accessible at the University of Pittsburgh or other institutions that subscribe to Pivot.
